Best thing ever!! Love using it on the bed and babe has own safe space to sleep.GiftAfter my babies outgrew the newborn sized dock a tot. I found this and they love it,so I love it. Only con is that the liner for the back cushion is very delicate so if there is an accident. I would hand wash and hang dryI bought 2. My son Loves them. He was so used to sleeping on a doc a tot but he quickly grew out of it. The larger size doc a tots are too expensive. This was so worth it !My baby has been sleeping in my arms while sitting on a couch for months (I blame my husband since he has been holding him all night for the first 6 weeks of his life lol) and I was sleep deprived with sore arms and shoulders from always having to hold him otherwise he will not sleep. I have pretty much tried everything including consulting with a sleep trainer, different bassinet, co-sleeper, inclined sleeper, etc. To be honest, he still sleeps in my arms during the day but with this product, he actually sleeps by himself majority of the night. I just have to have add a rolled blanket and slightly turn him side way. Although he still won't nap in this thing but at least I get to sleep lying down for several hours at night and when he fusses I can reach out and give him a pacifier and put him back to sleep fast enough so I don't have to go through the whole process of putting him to sleep! The quality and the material of this it not great but I am definitely less sleep deprived.I spent a lot of time researching traveling bed options for my daughter. I couldn’t validate spending the amount of money for a Doc-A-Tot or even a SnuggleMe Organic. We trained our daughter to sleep in her own crib from the first night we brought her home so the traveling crib was just going to be for that, when we travel. We used this on our week long trip to California and our daughter loved it. It keeps her in her own space with out feeling like she’s cramped. Once we came home, we put it in her crib which helped a lot with her rolling. This bed keep her out of the crib rails (which I had found her head and legs crammed in between many mornings). I washed it for the first time last night and I really like how you can remove the pillow buffer so that you don’t compromise the sturdiness of the buffer like other customers have stated. Our daughter also likes to lounge her leg on the buffer while she sleeps (it’s super cute). Overall it keeps her safe in her own space, away from the crib rails and snuggles enough to feel happy. Btw - we stopped swaddling about 2 weeks before we purchased this product and have had no issues with her feeling like she needs to be swaddled. No chemical smell when originally unpackaged.When we first ordered this it came without a pillow. The seller not only responded within a day but sent out a brand new product with all the pieces. While it is advertised as a co-sleeper personally I would not feel comfortable using it for that and would recommend one with mesh sides just to be on the safe side. HOWEVER it is PERFECT for laying the baby on the couch while you are awake and able to supervise the baby . I also use to distribute the weight when resting the baby on my thighs (the cushion keeps his feet from digging into my belly) & to rest him on the bathroom vanity in the middle of the night while washing my hands (my baby is only a little over a month old-this practice would not be safe for a baby that can roll). PLUS it's free from all the crap/toxins that the foam mattresses are stuffed with in other loungers & the synthetic materials used(including the dock a total). Good old fashioned cotton :)PERFECT for us - my 5m old is sleep transitioning but he's too tall for the swaddle me by your side co-sleeper he's had since birth. We travel a lot, so it's easiest to have him in something that i can transport easily yet will look and feel the same to him wherever we are. This bed is SO AWESOME i can't even tell you - if he werent able to move or somewhat roll about i might be hesitant as the sides arent mesh, but now that he's outgrown the co-sleeper that fit that bill, I'm okay with him in this until he's able to start sleeping in his own bed or anywhere else like a big boy. Note: this goes in his bassinet at home (with the foot area propped up a bit as he still sleeps with his feet up in the air), and will go into his crib once we've fully transitioned him from co-sleeping, later to be removed completely. Until then, this is a life saver as he is already 27.17" long! I love how you can either tie the bottom together or leave it untied for when his feet ultimately bypass the length of this - our kid's only 5m, so it's not unheard of at this point ;)
