TOTAL GAME CHANGER!! I planned to use both this and my Spectra pump but quickly gave up on the Spectra. One of the hardest things about pumping with a traditional pump is, if you are alone with the baby, and baby starts crying, you can't pick him/her up while attached to the awkward pump. I like that you can pump directly into the bottles with a traditional pump but I really don't care anymore. This gives me my life back! Granted, it's not convenient to pump at all because you do have to stop what you are doing, stick to a schedule, prepare bottles, etc. This is the next best thing though. So much cheaper than going through insurance for the Elvie or Willow, and so much more convenient than having to search through approved medical device providers and sending in receipts for reimbursements. Two of my sisters tried the Elvie and Willow and said they weren't that great anyway.PROS:-The suction is just as good as my Spectra.-Affordable/better deal-Comfort is about what you would expect. It takes a while to get used to nursing and pumping so you will be uncomfortable for a while.-Convenient & gives freedom back-The pouring spout works well-More portable than traditional pumps-It isn't completely silent but it doesn't draw too much attention.CONS:(This is true for any wearable pump)-You can't see how much you are pumping (I can move it a bit to make sure milk is actually dispensing but you won't see an accurate level that way)- Watch the seal!! Be CAREFUL when taking the pumps off & taking off the motors and double check when sealing them up again. If the seal gets pulled too much, that's a lot of milk to leak.-It's top heavy. It can tip over easily.-It is not discrete like the modeling pictures show. Maybe if you are large busted, you can get away with it but, if you are normally a B, or C once milk comes in, wear a poncho nursing cover. Otherwise, you will get weird looks like "WHAAAAT....? What happened? You ought to sue!" It just looks unnatural.Note: It is possible to use these with regular nursing bras but there is one problem. Regular nursing bras have smaller clasps than the wearable pump nursing bras. So it's hard to find extenders that fit. I believe Elvie makes one but it's always out of stock or not available with Prime shipping, whenever I look. However, I have found that I can make it work using really long twist ties (like the kind that come on Christmas lights). Why not just use a wearable pumping bra? I sometimes do. That's what I sleep in. However, they only come in S.M, & L, not your actual bra size and that doesn't work well for me. I must have tried 4 or 5 different brands in various sizes and had to send most of them back. I normally would be a small but I ended up getting a L because 1) the other sizes were not flattering at all because 2) they compressed my breasts so much they looked flattened. 3) The cup sizes weren't quite big enough to hold the pumps. So now the band size isn't quite tight enough.
